Castelbello
  • Kastelbell Castle - built in 1238 by the Masters of Montalban. In 1825 it burned town and was restructured afterwards. In 1949 the castle owned by the Hendl Family was taken into possession by the Italian government.
    Opening times: from Easter to 31st of October. Guided tours: from the middle of June to the end of September – Wednesday to Saturday at 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Sundays and bank holidays at 10.30 a.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.

  • Juval Castle – was built by Hugo von Montalban in 1278 on a prehistoric site.
    Since 1983 the castle has provided the home for the renowned mountaineer Reinhold Messner, who enriched the castle with several art collections: a comprehensive Tibetan collection, mountain photo gallery, a mask collection from 4 continents, and more.
    Guided tours from the 20th of March to the 29th of June and from the 1st of September to the start of November daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed on Wednesdays. (Phone: 348/4433871)

Asparagus Weeks in Kastelbell
From 15th April to 13th May 2012 will take place in Val Venosta the Asparagus weeks with some of most delicious dishes.

Alternative tour of the 11 cities
from 6th to 11th february 2012 - In occasion of the " alternative tour of the 11 cities" , 250 Dutch skaters will have the opportunity to skate on the frozen lake Resia, in Val Venosta. From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. it is possible to do 16 tours of the lake.
